The Welcome Tab...








The BLScan Tab...

Select the Mailwasher blacklist file and convert duplicated addresses into wildcarded domains. Scan your blacklist and get a range of analyses results. You can specify that you always want your Mailwasher or MailwasherPro blacklist file to be used by default (using the Settings tab).

Interactively create an Ignore list so you can skip friendly domains.

Adjust the threshold, so if your blacklist file is huge, you can wildcard through it quicker.

Note that by hovering the cursor over a button, a tooltip is displayed.







The BLComp Tab...

Compare two blacklist files or any combination of blacklist files and plain sequential address lists. Optionally compare the Blacklist versus the Blacklist, Blacklist versus the Whitelist etc.







The BLJoin Tab...

Select two blacklist files and join the Blacklist and/or Whitelist sections.







The BLConv Tab...

Select the Mailwasher blacklist file and convert wildcarded domains into a set of filters. You can specify that you always want your Mailwasher or MailwasherPro blacklist file to be used by default (using the Settings tab).







The Totter Tab...

Select the Mailwasher trash file and search it. You can specify that you always want your Mailwasher or MailwasherPro trash file to be used by default (using the Settings tab).

Create an address list, just enter a sequential list of email addresses into the Address List file.
Create a search string list, just enter a sequential list of search strings into the String List file.

Specify how far back you want the search to extend.

Specify whether your Address List and/or your String List should be treated as being case sensitive.







The UnRotter Tab...

Select the Mailwasher trash file and decode it. You can specify that you always want your Mailwasher or MailwasherPro trash file to be used by default (using the Settings tab).







The Settings Tab...

The settings tab allows you to;
  • Set BLScanPlus Pro to use your Mailwasher or MailwasherPro folder. You can also select an arbitary folder.
  • Allow BLScan, Totter, UnRotter to read the blacklist and trash files directly from the selected Mailwasher folder.
  • Allow BLScan to write a newly generated blacklist file back to the selected Mailwasher folder.
  • Timestamp any output files produced.
  • Always save the current state of the program on exit.
You can also choose your preferred;
  • web viewer (your default browser is used if nothing is specified).
  • style of message/dialog box when manual wildcarding with BLScan.
  • foreground and background colors
  • display editor
