MultiWord requires an installation of Microsoft Word to be present on the host machine.

MultiWord was written on a W2K platform and will run on any platform from Windows 2000 upwards.

MultiWord
makes use of the Microsoft .NET Framework 2. If you regularly use the Microsoft windows update service, you may already have this. You can tell by pressing Start, open the Control Panel and then open Add or Remove Programs, scroll down the list and look for the presence of an item called "Microsoft .NET Framework 2" (or a higher version). If this is not present, you can get it from the Microsoft site at the link below.

To download the .NET Framework
  • Click on the link below and download/install the "Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package";
.NET download site:  Microsoft .NET Framework 2
  • This version is for Windows 2000 Service Pack 3; Windows 98; Windows 98 Second Edition; Windows ME; Windows Server 2003; Windows XP Service Pack 2. (A version for other operating systems can be found at the same link).
